Advanced Driver Assistance Systems & Automated Driving is a key development area at CARIAD. It’s perhaps one of the most complex areas of automotive mobility – but also one of the most exciting. With projects to bring Level 4 automated driving to the road, we’re striving to match – and exceed – human performance in every driving situation. Not just as a special lighthouse project for premium cars, but right down to the volume segment for millions of drivers worldwide.

In this field, you’ll have the opportunity to work on software functions like Highway Pilot and Automated Valet Parking, achieving new levels of driver safety and comfort. Or perhaps you’d rather dive into a topic like AI-based sensor fusion, bringing together radar, lidar, cameras, ultrasonic sensors, lasers and HD maps. In doing so, you’ll help our vehicles perceive and understand the environment around them and advance the development of automated driving functions.
