Berlin, November 2, 2022 – Michael Manske will take over as Head of Communications, Brand and Marketing at CARIAD SE on December 01, 2022. He succeeds Dirk Erat, who will take on new responsibilities within the Volkswagen Group. Manske was previously responsible for CEO & Digital Communications at the Volkswagen Group and will report to CARIAD CEO Dirk Hilgenberg in his new role.
Michael Manske is a trained journalist. Before joining the Volkswagen Group, he worked from 2014 to 2019 at Axel Springer Verlag in the Bild editorial department in various positions and different locations such as Hamburg, Berlin and Los Angeles. In 2019, he joined Volkswagen as spokesperson Litigation Communication. Under Herbert Diess, he was responsible for the CEO Communications at the Volkswagen Group from 2021. In 2021, he was also appointed to the supervisory board of the DEL ice hockey team Grizzlys Wolfsburg.
