YOUR TEAM

To support our measurement team, we are currently looking for a working student. In your role you get first-hand experience in software development, in the design of local IP networks and will be an integral part of the team that works on the development of high-performance ADAS/AD measurement technology.

Our team is responsible for software development in measurement technology and visualization as well as for the construction and administration of the measurement technology IP network and its commissioning in the vehicle. We are also in charge for the further development of measurement technology and visualization, such as the integration of new sensors or reference sensors and the automation of the commissioning process.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Work on test benches and on the vehicle such as troubleshooting, bring up, documentation
  • Software development for a measurement technology framework
  • Scripting in python for automation
  • Putting measuring systems on Linux and Windows into operation
  • Connection and testing of new sensors

WHO YOU ARE

  • Enrolled student in the area of technical discipline (please specify the expected date of your graduation or end of enrollment)
  • Knowledge and experience in C++, Python, Powershell, Linux and Windows
  • Experience in frameworks (implementation/configuration/"make it work")
  • Experience in using development tools (Conan, Git, CMake, Bazel)
  • Knowledge about networks, vehicle buses, time synchronization
  • Strong communication skills in written and spoken German and English
  • Preferedly Berlin-based for vehicle bring-up and hands-on activities

NICE TO KNOW

  • Duration: 6 months
  • 20 h/week, up to 35 h/week during semester break
