At CARIAD, we're bundling and further expanding the Volkswagen Group's software expertise. We’re uniting over 6,500 global experts to build a scalable technology stack, including a software platform, unified electronic architecture and reliable connection to the automotive cloud. Our CARIDIANS are developing vehicle functions such as driver assistance systems, a next-generation infotainment platform, power electronics and charging technology, and digital services in and around the vehicle.

Our software can already be found in Volkswagen ID. models and will soon power Audi and Porsche vehicles with the E3 1.2 platform in 2024.

YOUR TEAM

We're developing next generation predictive safety functions in the trendsetting field of ADAS. This includes developing, testing and experiencing the future of mobility from concept phase to market readiness. Our highly motivated team is working in an interdisciplinary, networked and agile environment. For speeding up our development we're looking forward to finding new talents supporting our team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Support our team in comparing virtual and real tests
  • Create and model simulation scenarios
  • Develop scripts and tools for analyzing or managing large amounts of data generated by simulation
  • Create tools for automatic API interaction (Azure, Python)
  • Execute extension software-packaging checks (CI/CD)
  • Simplify usage of the azure cloud application by writing scripts

WHO YOU ARE

  • Enrolled student in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics or equivalent field
  • Good knowledge in Windows, Linux, C, C++, Python, Bash, Batch
  • Good knowledge in the simulation environment IPG CarMaker is an advantage
  • Knowledge of vehicle and control technology is an advantage
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken). German would be a plus
  • Proactive mindset,  organised and team player mindset
