YOUR TEAM

In the Delivery Unit our vision is to ensure delivery in time, budget, scope and quality for the E3 1.2  by providing the E2E responsibility across all systems. Together with the system leads and cluster managers, we coordinate customer needs, commission the Tech Centers with the development of products, monitor the project progress holistically and resolve goal conflicts. The Delivery Unit is the defined interface to the series of the brands of VW Group. 

The Jobholder has several functions, like ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standard to secure the general delivery of automotive software for Volkswagen Group. The main tasks include project planning, monitoring, and control, as well as maintaining adequate project communication and continuous process improvement in exchange with several stakeholders. The team also provides support to portfolio, solution, and delivery managers in the form of templates, best practices, and training.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Strategic analyses of various aspects of to derive strategic measures
  • Active stakeholder management as part of the role as transformation agent for strategic initiatives
  • Further development and co-design of the range of services offered by the PMO
  • Ensure maximum transparency and availability of relevant business data, supporting the project progress and data driven decision making at the same time
  • Prepare, present, and represent objectives and define standardized reports and decision papers for the DU in all areas of the development scope across all levels in the company
  • Lead multinational project teams in several technical settings and scope, in order to achieve above goals
  • Supporting with special projects, e.g. strategy discussions that involve resource perspectives or analysis

WHO YOU ARE

  • Successfully completed degree, preferred in a technical field or in business administration with at least 3+ years of professional experience in a consultancy or corporate strategy department or a PMO office, ideally in the automotive or tech industry 
  • Experience working in cross-functional, agile teams
  • Strong intercultural skills and knowledge in managing multiple stakeholders
  • Outstanding analytical ceompetence and conceptual skills to evaluate system designs, assess problems and workout solutions with relevant stakeholders and experts within CARIAD or across other VW group brands
  • High degree of autonomy and the ability to structure and explain complex matters to senior management up to C-Level
  • Excellent English and German communication skills
