At CARIAD, we're bundling and further expanding the Volkswagen Group's software expertise. We’re uniting over 6,500 global experts to build a scalable technology stack, including a software platform, unified electronic architecture and reliable connection to the automotive cloud. Our CARIDIANS are developing vehicle functions such as driver assistance systems, a next-generation infotainment platform, power electronics and charging technology, and digital services in and around the vehicle.

Our software can already be found in Volkswagen ID. models and will soon power Audi and Porsche vehicles with the E3 1.2 platform in 2024.

YOUR TEAM

Within the department of “PMT – Processes, Methods and Tools (TZ)”  we thrive our Tech Centers and Delivery Units to deliver complex technologies in time, in budget and in quality. As a central enabler for the product development we ensure resource management and continuous process improvement. Furthermore we provide compliant processes, methods as well as consistent toolchains. We empower every employee to create value for our customers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Leading your team disciplinary in terms of modern / servant leadership and develop them further
• You ensure, that the employees have the right competencies for the PMT Products
• Partnering and Stakeholder management with CARIAD, the VW Group and Bosch
• Fostering the exchange between the Alliance PMT and CARIAD experts
• Constant compliance monitoring to meet targets in terms of cost, quality and time and defined environmental targets

WHO YOU ARE

• Successfully completed studies in an engineering or business management area with at least 7 years of professional experience
• Visionary leadership skillset, mindset and experience in personnel management
• Many years of experience working in cross-functional, agile teams
• Expertise in modernization and harmonization of working methods, e.g., introduction of automation
• Strong intercultural skills and knowledge in managing multiple stakeholders
• You are process oriented and result driven
• Passion for the tech industry and transformation as well as profound cross-industrial understanding of trends, technology and mobility market
• Outstanding analytical competence, strategic thinking and implementation skills
• Excellent English and German communication skills
