YOUR TEAM

The department is responsible for the development of services for in cabin sensing, automated driving, parking, safety and piloted assistance functions. Overall topics are display functions, cloud services and map learning.

This job ad is focused on developing a core component within this field.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Take technical ownership of a core component within a distributed environment, spanning vehicle ECUs and Cloud services, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Lead discussions and coordination efforts to capture and refine the brand's requirements, preparing them for detailed decomposition and implementation.
  • De-/Refining technical concepts including technical regulations and cooperating with internal and external development partners along the systems chain.
  • Drive the refinement of architecture and system specifications, leveraging your expertise to optimize performance and functionality.
  • Coordinate software development activities, working closely with development teams to enhance software performance and efficiency.
  • Coordinating our next development steps, supplier management and validation of the development results up to the final approval.
  • Conduct integration and testing of the core component within the vehicle environment, utilizing advanced techniques such as pulling traces and conducting detailed analysis.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or related technical field, with a demonstrated track record of academic excellence.
  • Previous experience in automotive function development, coupled with a deep understanding of software development processes.
  • Proficiency in C++ and Python, with a passion for continual learning and skill development.
  • Knowledge in project management and in software development and the corresponding processes (e.g. ASPICE or ISO26262)
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and experience working in an agile environment (Scrum, SAFe).
  • Fluent in both English and German, with the ability to travel and work on-site as required.
