YOUR TEAM

The team specializes in developing advanced video perception algorithms, relying on optimal preconditions defined by your work to deliver the best possible image in any traffic situation. You are in contact with system architects, customer functions and visual perception engineers, to guarantee the optimal system consisting of perception algorithms, processing hardware and the sensor system you define and design.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Collect, analyze, and document requirements, aligning them with stakeholders and utilizing them as input into software and architecture design, adhering to automotive processes and company standards
  • Develop requirements for the next generation's vision sensors based on the system requirements and state of the art and beyond camera technology
  • Define next generation's vision sensors' optimal compontents in cooperation with perception system architects
  • Define and establish the optimal vision sensor set by optimally assemble, adust and parameterize the components
  • Take the initiative to improve and maintain working processes and development infrastructure within your team, contributing to the team's overall success
  • Keep contact with external providers and state of the art imaging technology

WHO YOU ARE

  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Understanding of ISP blocks, video pipelines in software and hardware and their parameterization for display applications and machine learning
  • Good knowledge of image quality metrics for sharpness, color accuracy, image similarity, etc. and their calculation rules and how they relate to the parameterization of ISP blocks with a good understanding of digital photography/videography, the concepts of the hardware used (optics, image sensors), HDR principles and the image processing algorithms implementing this
  • Excellent understanding of photography: exposure settings, white balance, depth of field including how artificial or natural lighting affects image and video quality
  • Practical knowledge of a common programming language, preferably Python or C++ with good knowledge of  artificial intelligence and machine learning
