YOUR TEAM

Our department is responsible for the development of services for automated driving, parking, safety and piloted assistance functions. Overall topics are display functions, cloud services and map learning.

This job ad is focused on human machine interface (HMI) topics. We are responsible for the implementation of technical solutions for HMI-related customer functions (e.g. software components representing information to the driver or managing user settings).

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Coordinating the requirements of the customers in the group and designing the system
• Technical responsibility for a core component feeding a ADAS/AD related UI. This core component aggregates the setup options for all ADAS/ AD functions in the car. These are distributed over the vehicle ECU's and cloud services.
• Defining the technical concepts including technical regulations and cooperating with internal and external development partners along the systems chain
• (Re-)Defining the architecture and the system specification
• Coordinating next development steps, supplier management and validation of the development results up to the final approval
• Testing the integrated function in the vehicle, recording and analyzing traces

WHO YOU ARE

• Successfully completed studies in the fields of computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering or comparable studies with a technical focus
• Experience in the automotive function development process
• Practical experience with testing and/or application if ADAS functions
• Knowledge in project management
• Experience in Requirements Engineering desireable
• Experience in human-machine interfaces desirable
• Practical experience working in an agile environment desirable (e.g. SAFe)
• High level of self-initiative, excellent communication skills, self-management and team orientation
• Fluent in English and German
