Senior Solution Management Specialist - Architecture (m/f/d)

At CARIAD, we're bundling and further expanding the Volkswagen Group's software expertise. We’re uniting over 6,500 global experts to build a scalable technology stack, including a software platform, unified electronic architecture and reliable connection to the automotive cloud. Our CARIDIANS are developing vehicle functions such as driver assistance systems, a next-generation infotainment platform, power electronics and charging technology, and digital services in and around the vehicle.

Our software can already be found in Volkswagen ID. models and will soon power Audi and Porsche vehicles with the E3 1.2 platform in 2024.

As a cross-functional department for technology and architecture, we have interfaces with CARIAD as well as Volkswagen Group brands in order to
establish a consistent and comprehensive architecture strategy, framework and roadmap. We are the digital backbone of mobility!

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Develop and update the solution vision, solution intent and capabilities
• Define and align the solution roadmap, including main release dates
• Participation at the cluster-planning and definition of architecture related milestones
• Specify the target customers (consumers/ users) of the solution deliverables and detail their needs in order to ensure the right benefit delivery
• Act as an interface to other business units within the group, including active participation in relevant decision boards
• Prioritize the solution backlog as well as capabilities and communicates them to the program managers/ solution architects
• Monitor solution progress (time, costs, quality, content) and adjust as needed

WHO YOU ARE

• Successfully completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, computer science, business informatics or a related field
• Experienced solution manager with proven experience in the fields of end-to-end customer processes and customer value in an automotive or embedded environment
• Deep understanding and proficient knowhow in developing and delivering products in automotive industry
• strong project management skills and self-responsibility
• Helpful: experience in agile solution modelling
• Leadership and communication skills, decision-making authority, networked-thinking and networking
