YOUR TEAM

In our department, we develop driver assistance software for all brands of the Volkswagen Group. Together, we are going the next step in highly automated driving. Our software product lines implement customer functions like Lane Assist, Travel Assist, Front Assist, Emergency Assist and Automated Valet Parking. You will develop embedded software over the whole lifecycle from early prototypes to software that customers will experience in the car. Be a member of our highly motivated interdisciplinary team! The following tasks await you:

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Take the responsibility for essential software components including perception, path planning, control algorithms or driver interaction
  • Coordinate with a dynamic team of developers, fostering efficient collaboration and assuming ownership of maintaining the backlog
  • Analyze and conceptualize new functions and features, contributing to the harmonization of architecture by working closely with other module owners and software architects
  • Elevate the design of both new and existing components, actively participating in their implementation to drive technological advancement
  • Ensure meticulous documentation of your work in adherence to established process standards, and proactively promote a culture of thorough documentation among team members
  • Provide crucial support for function validation through comprehensive software and vehicle testing, enhancing the reliability and safety of autonomous vehicle systems

WHO YOU ARE

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Vehicle Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
  • Several years of professional experience dedicated to software development, with a specific focus on Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) functions
  • Profound proficiency in programming and modeling, demonstrated through hands-on experience with C/C++
  • Proven track record in automotive function development, leveraging state of the art development processes such as A-SPICE and ISO 26262
  • Exceptional interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills
  • Fluent English and German laguage skills (verbal & written)
