We’re uniting over 6,500 global experts to build a scalable technology stack, including a software platform, unified electronic architecture and reliable connection to the automotive cloud. Our CARIDIANS are developing vehicle functions such as driver assistance systems, a next-generation infotainment platform, power electronics and charging technology, and digital services in and around the vehicle.

Our software can already be found in Volkswagen ID. models and will soon power Audi and Porsche vehicles with the E3 1.2 platform in 2024.

YOUR TEAM

We are looking for a highly skilled and dynamic Lead Architect to join our large software project team. As a Lead Architect, you will play a key role in providing technical leadership to teams in the areas of CI/CD/CT and cloud environment.
Additionally, you will be responsible for defining architectural pathways, continuously reviewing and adapting operation models, and introducing innovative technologies to drive the project's success.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Technical Leadership: Lead and guide cross-functional development teams in implementing efficient CI/CD/CT and Cloud solutions, ensuring best practices and optimal performance
• Architectural Strategies: Define and communicate architectural strategies that align with business objectives, leveraging your extensive expertise in CI and Cloud technologies
• Operation Model: Continuously review and adapt the established operation models to enhance the project's efficiency, scalability, and reliability
• Innovation and Technology Integration: Stay updated with emerging technologies and assess their relevance for the project, introducing innovative solutions to achieve competitive advantages
• Collaboration: Foster effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless integration of various components and systems. Advocate and defend the defined domain strategy among the project stakeholders

WHO YOU ARE

• Proven track record as a Solution Architect / DevOps in large software projects, with a focus on CI and Cloud environments 
• In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, DigitalOcean, OCI, IBM Cloud...) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Terraform, Github Actions)
• Strong expertise in defining and implementing architectural solutions that align with business goals
• Ability to review and optimize operation models for improved project outcomes
• Demonstrated capability to introduce cutting-edge technologies to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness
• Excellent communication and technical leadership skills, enabling you to convey technical concepts clearly to various stakeholders
