YOUR TEAM

As the Platform Deployment & Operations team, we focus on platform operations to ensure a high availability for all our customers. Our goal is customer satisfaction with online services since this is a key factor for the success of our digitalization strategies.

As Process Manager you are the interface between operations services on the cloud and stakeholders. In your role you will develop or improve worldwide operations collaboration models and design the corresponding processes, ensure the proper use of our platforms, and implement standards for a smooth operations phase. You will support the product teams during the development phase to ensure a fast integration in our operations processes. You act as the work stream lead ensuring that all agreed criteria for operability/maintainability of new applications on our platforms are delivered prior to their live implementation as well as identifying and managing any associated risk. During the operations phase you are responsible to control the defined service level agreements and driving customer satisfaction (internal and end customer) by conducting the service review meetings with our DevOps teams and external partners. You will support to extend the operations capabilities on our cloud foundation and create an offering for the product teams.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Develop and implement strategies for operations service offering on our cloud foundation (e.g. observability services, CI/CD templates, service management, etc.)
  • Work with experts and cloud service providers to select appropriate solutions for operations
  • Establish and improve our worldwide operating model: Ensure that the collaboration model, responsibilities, service level agreements and processes are aligned between all relevant parties
  • Ensure that all applications and partners are following our operational standards (NFRs, tool usage, ITIL processes, etc.)
  • Train and consult teams in our organisation how to use the platform products
  • Improve the self-service capabilities of our platforms and reduce the time to onboard with guides and automations
  • Continuously improve our processes, operations capabilities and collaboration models to ensure state-of-the-art operations
  • Assess current setup of the operations capabilities on our cloud foundation and identify opportunities for consolidation CARIAD wide

WHO YOU ARE

  • Successfully completed studies in the field of information technology or comparable studies
  • Professional work experience, ideally in Operating Model / Platform Operations in large scale and complex environments
  • Relevant training and/or certifications as a Cloud Expert (AWS & Azure)
  • Extensive experience of building and executing ITIL & SAFe processes
  • Strong customer orientation, communication skills, ability to deal with conflicts
  • Broad knowledge in application and platform operations, particularly in complex architecture
  • Fluent English language skills (oral and written), German is a plus
