Dr. Herbert Diess has been appointed as a new member of the Supervisor
Dr. Herbert Diess has been appointed as a new member of the Supervisory Board at the CARIAD SE general meeting. The Chairman of the Board of Management of Volkswagen AG takes over from Markus Duesmann and therefore also becomes Chairman of the Supervisory Board of CARIAD SE.

Within the Board of Management of the Volkswagen Group, Herbert Diess had already taken over responsibility for software and CARIAD from Markus Duesmann as of 1 January 2022.
Hauke Stars and Hildegard Wortmann were appointed as further new members of the Supervisory Board of CARIAD SE.
Hildegard Wortmann has been Member of the Board of Management for Sales at Volkswagen AG since February 2022. In addition, she has been the Member of the Board of Management responsible for Sales and Marketing at AUDI AG since 2019.
Hauke Stars has led IT and Organization at Volkswagen AG as a member of the Board of Management since February 2022.
